Time for Disney Fun Fact Friday! ✨

When you exit the Haunted Mansion in Walt Disney World, you’ll find a pet cemetery. Way in the back you will find a statue of Mr. Toad. At one time, the location of the Winnie the Pooh ride was home to Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, an attraction you can still find in Disneyland. This is a subtle nod to the “death” of Mr. Toad in Disney World.

Do you want two great ways to beat the crowds at Disney World? ✨

Well, I’ve got them and they both happen at the coolest part of the day! Extended Evening Hours and After Hours are two ways that you can visit the parks at night with minimal crowds. However, a lot of people use these titles interchangeably and there are some very important distinctions. Extended Evening Hours is when those staying in deluxe level resorts can stay in a designated park for up to two hours later than other guests. This is free of charge. After Hours events are separately ticketed and usually allow those attending the ability to come in to the park two hours before park close and stay for about three to four hours after close. While this option isn’t free, it does include free, all you can enjoy ice cream, popcorn, and water. Both are fantastic ways to get some extra park time without the crazy crowds.
