This week I'm taking you to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside!

I have wanted to stay here for a long time, and after finally experiencing it for myself, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations.

We stayed in a Preferred Room in Alligator Bayou, and the theming was incredible. It truly felt like we were tucked away in the bayou while still being just a short walk from everything we needed. The main building, dining, gift shop, and transportation were all conveniently close by.

What surprised me most was how peaceful and relaxing this resort felt. After busy park days, it was the perfect place to come back to and unwind. The beautiful walking paths, lush landscaping, and attention to detail made it feel like a destination all on its own.

Port Orleans Riverside has definitely moved up my list of favorite Disney resorts, and I can already see why so many guests return again and again.

🍽️ Tasty Tuesday 🍽️

One meal that really surprised us on our last Walt Disney World trip was dinner at Boatwright's Dining Hall at our resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

Bryce and I both ordered the Taste of the Bayou All You Care to Enjoy Platter, while Brad chose the Char Grilled Butcher's Steak. My cousins, who travel with us often, also tried the Prime Rib and the Butcher's Steak.

Since we were using the Disney Dining Plan, everyone received a dessert with their meal. We decided to order one of each dessert and share them around the table so we could try them all. It was the perfect way to sample everything, and honestly, there wasn't a bad choice in the bunch!

Sometimes the meals that end up being your favorites are the ones you weren't expecting. This was definitely one of those dining experiences for us.

As many of you know, I'll be sailing on my very first Disney Cruise this August! Before the cruise, I'm thinking about doing a resort stay and I need help narrowing down my options.

✨️Making Memories Monday ✨️

One of t he highlights of our recent Walt Disney World trip was attending EPCOT After Hours, and I can honestly say we will definitely be doing it again!

The low crowds and short wait times made the experience feel completely different from a regular park day. One of our favorite moments was stopping for a photo in front of Frozen Ever After and then walking right onto the ride with a 0 minute wait. If you've ever been to EPCOT, you know that's not something you see very often!

As an added bonus, unlimited popcorn, ice cream, soda, and bottled water were included throughout the event.

Being able to enjoy the park at a slower pace, ride some of our favorites with little to no wait, and make memories together made for a truly magical evening.
