While it may seem quiet here, it's been anything but behind the scenes!

With the kids out of school, summer vacations underway, client travel, and more quote requests this time of year than I typically expect (which I'm certainly not complaining about ๐Ÿ˜Š), my days have been filled with helping clients prepare for their upcoming adventures.

This month, I have several clients traveling, including two who will be experiencing something completely new.

๐Ÿ๏ธ One couple is headed to ๐’๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐’๐š๐ข๐ง๐ญ ๐•๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐š๐๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ฌ. I had the opportunity to experience this beautiful resort last year, and it's truly unlike anywhere else in the Caribbean. The island feels untouched, peaceful, and incredibly authentic. It's one of those destinations that stays with you long after you return home.

๐Ÿšข Another client is getting ready to sail aboard the ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฐ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐š๐ง ๐€๐ช๐ฎ๐š. I was fortunate enough to experience this ship during its Media Preview, and I can't wait for them to experience it for themselves. From the entertainment to the dining and everything in between, it's a fantastic ship.

One thing that's really important to me is making sure my clients feel prepared before they travel.

Throughout the planning process, I'm always checking in, answering questions, and helping with the details. Before every trip, I also create a personalized ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ ๐†๐ฎ๐ข๐๐ž filled with the important information they'll need while they're away.

I just got back from a quick girls' trip to Walt Disney World Resort with two of my cousins. We took this same trip three years ago and decided it was time to do it again!

Since it was so hot the last time we visited, we planned this trip around ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ ๐€๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ events at ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐ข๐œ ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค and ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ'๐ฌ ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฌ. If you've never experienced one, I highly recommend it! The parks have limited capacity, wait times are much shorter, the sun isn't beating down on you, and the cooler evening temperatures make for a much more enjoyable experience.
So... back to the idea that a vacation is what you make of it.

We arrived on Sunday expecting to stay at ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ'๐ฌ ๐†๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ข๐š๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ & ๐’๐ฉ๐š, but after an issue with our room, we were moved to ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ'๐ฌ ๐˜๐š๐œ๐ก๐ญ ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ... and then ultimately ended up at ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ'๐ฌ ๐€๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐‹๐จ๐๐ ๐ž.

The entire experience was much more complicated than I'm describing here. At one point, it honestly felt like we were living in our own episode of ๐ด ๐‘†๐‘’๐‘Ÿ๐‘–๐‘’๐‘  ๐‘œ๐‘“ ๐‘ˆ๐‘›๐‘“๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ๐‘ก๐‘ข๐‘›๐‘Ž๐‘ก๐‘’ ๐ธ๐‘ฃ๐‘’๐‘›๐‘ก๐‘ ! ๐Ÿ˜‚

By the time we finally got settled into our room, it was around ๐Ÿ:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐€๐Œ, and we didn't get to sleep until nearly ๐Ÿ‘:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐€๐Œ after being awake since ๐Ÿ“:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐€๐Œ for our flight to Orlando. We were exhausted, cranky, and completely over it.

But the Cast Members at ๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ'๐ฌ ๐€๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ ๐‹๐จ๐๐ ๐ž were incredible. They helped turn everything around, and before long we found ourselves laughing about the whole experience. As it turned out, staying up so late actually worked in our favor since our Disney After Hours events didn't begin until later that evening. We were able to sleep in and enjoy the parks late into the night.

Life - and travel - doesn't always go according to plan. But sometimes the unexpected detours end up becoming some of the best memories.

Want to know my favorite thing about Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park? Being able to experience this magical place during the night after the park closes to the public! Think low wait times and lower temps with all the magic still included. Most rides are walk-on meaning no really long lines to wait in and since the sun is down and the temps are a bit cooler, it makes for a much more enjoyable experience during the heat of summer!

I recently experienced After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, and I accomplished more in 3 hours than I would during a full day at the park! This special ticketed event is limited occupancy which means low wait times. Hereโ€™s a look at what I accomplished the other night:

There were a few rides I skipped, such as Tron,Lightcycle/Run, but not because I didnโ€™t have time - I just didnโ€™t feel like it.
