Express Pass or no Express Pass? Arrive early or later? Is an RIP Tour worth it?

Iโ€™m a HUGE fan of HHN, and over the years Iโ€™ve experienced the event just about every way possible - with Express Pass, without it, arriving early, arriving later, and even with an RIP Tour.

There are pros and cons to each, and I definitely have my favorites depending on what you want to get out of your night!

I LOVE Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, but you don't have to be someone who loves being scared to experience HHN 35. There are actually a few ways to ease yourself into the event:

1๏ธโƒฃ๐“๐ซ๐ฒ ๐š ๐Ÿ‘-๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐ž๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐’๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ: ๐”๐ง๐ฆ๐š๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐‡๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐จ๐ซ ๐“๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ.
This daytime tour takes you through three haunted houses with the lights on - no scare actors jumping out at you, no intentional smells and no scary soundtrack. It's a great way to see how incredibly detailed the houses are without experiencing them during the nighttime event.

There's something about those scare zones once darkness sets in! Arriving early gives you some time to experience the event before everything feels quite as intimidating.

There is so much I love about this yearโ€™s event. The icons are perfect, the scare zones are so much fun, and I especially love the addition of stage shows featuring ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ซ๐ญ within the scare zones. They make everything feel that much more interactive!

But we all know the real stars of Halloween Horror Nights are the ๐ก๐š๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ.

After experiencing all 10, here is my official HHN 35 ranking from favorite to least favorite:
