Formed as a collaborative effort between the State of Florida’s Expressway Authorities System and the Florida Turnpike District, TEAMFL was founded in 1997. st operation. The partnership of TEAMFL provides consensus on policy issues, as well as an avenue for positive idea sharing and strong partnerships. Membership in TEAMFL includes a unique combination of staff and board members from agencies, expressway organizations, and companies throughout the state of Florida. In addition, the Florida Department of Transportation, Turnpike District, and the Transportation Commission actively join TEAMFL in pursuing its goals. Truly a team effort, TEAMFL explores potential policies and represents policies to advance official causes to the Florida Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration. TEAMFL’s purpose is to unite the transportation- related agencies throughout the state that have a vital interest in the development and operation of the high quality expressway systems.
