POV of Lipovitan Rocket☆Luna at Yomiuriland 🚀 Really fun, though it’s hard to see a lot since it’s mostly a dark ride. Two chain lifts, and there’s a game where you clap at a key moment and the loudest clap wins a score at the end. Japan’s first swing-type hanging coaster, opened 2021, Gerstlauer. 🎢

Lipovitan Rocket☆Luna at Yomiuriland 🚀 Gerstlauer’s first-ever suspended/inverted-style coaster, opened 2021, and also happened to be their 100th coaster overall. The seats are springy — genuinely bouncy in a way you don’t feel on most coasters. 🎢

POV of Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia 🎢 One of my favorite B&M hypers, period. Every single time I rode it, front seat or back, I got ejected out of my seat. The airtime is completely insane. I love this coaster so much. 🎢

POV of Jack Rabbit at Kennywood 🐰 One of the best classic wooden coasters I’ve ever ridden. That double dip is amazing. Designed by John A. Miller, opened 1920, joint-5th oldest operating coaster in the world. This ride as one of the first with up-stop wheel — the innovation that made virtually every modern wooden coaster possible. 🎢

POV of my last time getting strapped into X2 😭 Six Flags just announced today that X2 is closing permanently after nearly 20 years — over 16 million riders, and genuinely one of the most influential coasters ever built. RIP, X2! 🎢

Closeup of RailBlazer’s wheel assembly at California’s Great America 🎢 I just love how you can see the individual movement of each car up close. RMC Raptor track is so cool looking — genuinely one of the most photogenic mechanical designs in the industry. 🎢

Footage of Surf Coaster Leviathan at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise 🌊 It’s genuinely hard to get a good angle on this thing between all the trees and the helixes. This ride is 100% a RollerCoaster Tycoon creation in real life. 🎢

POV of Oscar’s Wacky Taxi at Sesame Place, back seat 🚕 Honestly loved this coaster. Gravity Group wood-steel hybrid, opened 2018, 40-ft first drop, over 1,200 ft of track. Taxi cab-themed train with Oscar the Grouch leading the way. 🎢

POV of Wakala at Bellewaerde 🎢 A surprisingly fun coaster, definitely overlooked, and it shouldn’t be. Gerstlauer family coaster, opened 2020. Two lift hills, a vertical spike with a rollback, and an original onboard soundtrack. 🎢
