I was just at Abilities Expo Orlando and this is by far the coolest thing at the show. The Action Trackchair is like getting a piggyback ride from Johnny 5. A wheelchair you can go anywhere with? I'm outta here!

Just kidding, they wouldn't let me keep it. But that thing was amazingly fun to drive around.

My left below-knee amputation is this Monday, Oct 12, so I'm out here checking out mobility gear. Thanks to the Trackchair crew for letting me take it for a spin!

Pro tip I just figured out 💊

You know the flip-over pill bottle cap? Screw it on one way and it's childproof. Flip it upside down and it's not.

Here's the part I didn't know: flip the cap, and the other side takes a second pill bottle. Screw one bottle on each side and you've got two bottles joined by one cap. It's great for travel, camping, a gym bag, or anything else where you want two things kept together. You can still get into both, and the bottom one is the one you open to take pills out.

Maybe I'm late to the game, but now you know. And knowing is half the battle. 🇺🇸

If you have a 3D printer and access to AI, you need to watch this.

My pool was dirty, and the adapter that connects my pool vacuum hose to the Hayward skimmer had gone missing. I ordered a pile of parts online and none of them fit.

So I took some rough measurements and described the part to ChatGPT (GPT-6 Astra) in plain words. I wanted it barbed on one end, tapered on the other, and curved instead of a hard 90 so it wouldn't choke the flow. It designed the part and handed me a file. I sliced it in Bambu Studio, printed small test pieces first so I wouldn't waste filament, adjusted the sizing, and then printed the full-size adapter on my Bambu Lab P2S. It took five prompts, and two of those were me fixing my own mistakes.

It fits like a champ, and the Anthony & Sylvan pool is almost clean.

A 3D printer plus AI is an unbelievably powerful set of tools, and just about anyone can use them now. I don't have the skills to design this part myself. I described it in words, and a few hours later I was holding a working part. What a great time to be alive. 🙌

Press the top of this computer and the we**am pops up. Press it again and it’s gone — physically hidden, not just “off.” No tape over the lens, no trusting a software toggle. That’s ridiculous and I love it. Why isn’t this on everything?
