We pulled every wait time from Mickey's Not-So-Scary opening night 🎃 and the party basically cuts the lines in HALF — and last year's whole season proves it wasn't a fluke.

TRON dropped from 88 min to 42 (still a line, but half!). Big Thunder 36→14, Buzz 38→13, and Jungle Cruise was a straight-up walk-on at 6 minutes. Oh — and Lightning Lane isn't even sold during the party. It's all standby, and the standby is short. 👻

Going on a party day? Save slide 7 — Lightning Lane windows close out hours earlier than normal because the park shuts to day guests at 6pm. Book early. 📌

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party started this week, of course we checked the wait-time data.

Opening night averaged just 14 minutes across Magic Kingdom rides during party hours. Big headliners saw the same pattern. And this wasn’t just an opening-night quirk.

What’s also interesting is that Magic Kingdom was already lighter before the party even started.

There is one Lightning Lane catch worth knowing about, though.

Disney World Lightning Lanes got easier last week, even for Slinky Dog Dash.

Slinky still sold out early most days, but it reached same-day booking twice after disappearing in advance every day the week before. Test Track also loosened up, Big Thunder lasted longer, and Millennium Falcon stayed available into the night.

Disney World got a little busier last week, but Animal Kingdom was the real story.

Waits jumped nearly 20% there, Slinky Dog Dash had zero same-day Lightning Lane availability all week, and a few other rides started disappearing earlier than usual.
