I can’t believe we managed to keep ourselves on land all summer. That said, if you gotta stay landlocked, those Smoky Mountain sunsets are tough to beat.

Besides, for the rest of the year we’re making up for lost time with two ocean cruises and a river sailing. Between Disney, Azamara, and Avalon I think we’re getting a pretty wide survey of some of the best cruise lines currently out there.

I took almost no photos at Pennsic so there’s not much competition, but this one with a camera lens blurry with sunscreen, ancient Mycenaean sun blush, and comfy garb might be my favorite.

I’m thinking since I’ve been on a Minoan and Mycenaean kick, might be time to head back to Greece. And this time, I’m making it over to Crete for sure.

Miss us?

A cross country move, multiple 20 hour drives, and a few weeks of medieval camping meant a social media break was…well, needed.

We’re settling in to life in the Midwest (even if we’re still mourning having Epcot in the backyard) and we’ve got plans to ramp our travel back up next month. Before the year ends, we’ve got a Disney Cruise, Azamara voyage in the Med, and an Avalon River Cruise in Germany. But it’s good to be busy and content will be ramping back up as we go.
