The version of history I learned in school was only half the story.

I've stood on the grounds at Monticello and walked the streets of Colonial Williamsburg. I've watched Hamilton reshape how I saw a founding father I thought I already understood. I've walked Paris, and driven through the town that inspired Gilmore Girls. Standing in the places where history actually happened changes what you thought you knew. It makes the past feel personal instead of just a page in a textbook.

That's what set jetting does. Travel and storytelling together uncover the complicated, surprising truths no classroom could fully capture. I know because I go.

I'm digging into this more on this week's podcast episode. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts.

Eight seats. Paris, the Loire Valley, and the ending this series deserves. May 28 to June 4, 2027, in a group small enough that it actually feels like your own season of the show. Left Bank mornings, a farewell dinner at a château in the Loire Valley, and a private shopping day on the Champs-Élysées with styling guidance from Once Upon A Wardrobe before you even land. I know because I go, and I'm building this one the way I'd want to experience it myself.

29 days left to register at the early rate. September 18 is the cutoff.

Oui, count me in. Link in bio to grab your seat.

I'll be a featured speaker at Love México 2026, October 19 to 22.

IADWP is bringing together the top wedding planners and travel advisors in the industry for Human by Design: The Future of Celebration Travel, and I'll be on stage sharing my modern Jewish wedding expertise.

I know because I go, and this time I'm bringing that experience straight to the room where celebration travel is being reimagined. For anyone planning a modern Jewish destination wedding, that means fresh ideas and connections that show up in how I plan your trip.

DM me if you want to talk through your own celebration.

Some of my favorite travel memories start with a bite, not a view.

In this episode, I'm sharing 10 foods worth traveling the world for, from Austin barbecue to Budapest chimney cakes and everything in between. I know because I go, and I've eaten my way through every one of these destinations. It's never just about the food. It's the people who served it, the places that framed it, and the luxury travel experiences that made each meal unforgettable.

The wrong cruise can make you swear off cruising for good.

In this episode, I'm breaking down the 5 questions that actually determine whether you'll love your cruise or dread it. Ocean or river. Adults-only or family-friendly. The cabin category that fits your budget without feeling cramped. How much you'll really spend once you're onboard. And the one thing that matters most: what you want your evenings to look like at the end of each day.

Because most people don't have a cruising problem. They have a "picked the wrong cruise" problem.

Listen now, link in bio.

P.S. If your last cruise left you unimpressed, question 3 is probably why.

Some of the best conversations happen at lunch, not on a stage.

At the Virtuoso Travel Tech Summit, I ended up at a roundtable with Emily Goldfischer and we talked about how AI has changed the way I run Jet Setting With Me. A few days later, that conversation turned into a mention in her piece for on where the industry stands with AI adoption.

Emily's reporting is sharp, and the piece is worth reading on its own merits, well beyond the paragraph with my name in it. Being part of that story was a genuinely nice surprise, and I'm grateful she found our conversation worth including.

Congratulations on a great piece, Emily Goldfischer.

interviewed me 1:1 about the lessons I wish someone had told me before I became a founder. My take covered the winding path that got me here: years as a wedding blogger and event planner before I ever booked a client's trip, three host agencies I walked away from before finding the right fit, and launching this business one month before a pandemic shut down travel entirely.

The advice I'd give anyone starting out: the first two years are a foundation, not a performance, so don't quit before it sets. Charge your worth from day one instead of apologizing for your rates later. And rebrand, expand, or contract your business whenever it stops matching who you've become. Mine did, more than once.

Founders don't get a manual. You get instinct, a few hard lessons, and the willingness to keep showing up anyway. Read my full interview at .

Before I left for Virtuoso Travel Week, I had one more thing to sort out: a bag that was stylish and professional, but could also keep me organized from one supplier session to the next. I love testing out different brands and gear to find what actually works and looks good doing it, so I can pass that on to clients instead of leaving them to do the research themselves.

My new bag arrived just in time and it was exactly what I needed. A padded laptop compartment, a spot for business cards, a water bottle holder, and an extra pouch for electronics and cords. It matches all my outfits and is genuinely functional, travel chic and work conference ready in one.

I know because I go, and I came prepared.
