Responsibilities
- Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages from warehouse to destination
- Load shipments into delivery vehicle individually
- Perform frequent lifting of packages (up to 70 pounds)
- Inspect delivery vehicle for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit a Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each shift
- Safely operate and navigate a GVWR 10,000 lbs or less delivery van for up to 10 hours, making 150+ stops per shift, in all weather conditions
- Perform all steps to a successful delivery so that Beacon Logistics is able to keep its promise to customers (100% on time service and delivery)
- Perform all duties in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to work weekends
- Valid Driver's License with fewer than 2 accidents/tickets/infractions in last 3 years
- Ability to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment 5-Panel Drug Test and Background Check.
