All God's People

All God's People Being Jesus' Hands and Feet to Those in Need. http://loveagp.com We also provide haircuts. The need is great.

All God’s People Chicago is an organization that ministers to the needs of homeless people in the Chicago Loop area. The second Saturday of the month we set up a distribution center at, 2431 State Street, Chicago, where we hand out clothing, blankets, toiletries, non perishable food and a hot meal. We serve hundreds of people who wait patiently in line to receive items that meet their basic needs.

These are our brothers and sisters who for whatever reason ended up on the street and through it all continue to praise Jesus. They know He alone is able to protect, provide, and perform the miracles they are looking for. It is an honor to serve in His name – a blessing to share a smile, a word of encouragement, or a few moments to listen with a caring heart.

What a beautiful Serve Day!

God gave us absolutely fabulous weather, 76 degrees and sunny! Thankful that hundreds of our friends joined us today, including so many new faces. What a gift to gather together in love, fellowship, and service.

We loved celebrating all the moms for Mother’s Day and we were so blessed by Melissa’s heartfelt devotion and testimony. Her words were such a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness and love. A special thank you to Nadine and her small group for putting together such thoughtful gift bags for all the moms. Your kindness and generosity made so many women feel loved and celebrated today.

One of the sweetest parts of the day was watching the children make aquariums and seeing the huge smiles on their faces, it truly was pure joy. Almost all of them said they were giving them to their Moms!

But my favorite moment of the day was giving Skye her new baby doll. Skye has Down syndrome, and watching her gently hold her baby, feed her the bottle, and care for her so tenderly was absolutely precious. It was one of those moments that just stops you in your tracks and reminds you what love, innocence, and joy truly look like. Our hearts melted and smiled like never before.

A huge shout out to our incredible warehouse team for all of the cleanup, organizing, and preparation as we get ready for June! Your hard work behind the scenes makes such a difference and helps everything run smoothly for those we serve.

To each person who serves in immeasurable ways, thank you for giving your time, energy, and servant hearts so faithfully. You are truly a blessing, and we are so grateful for each one of you. May God bless you abundantly for all you do!

Most of all, thank You to our Lord for the privilege of serving others. What a blessing it is to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Serving others truly is one of the greatest blessings we can receive, and we are so grateful for every opportunity God gives us to love people well.

Days like today remind us how deeply God moves through simple acts of kindness, community, and love. So grateful for every volunteer, every donation, every smile, and every person who came today. To God be the glory!

All Because of Him,

Doreen

A huge heartfelt thank you to Chicago Christian High School for the double blessing today, serving at both The Melinda House and our warehouse. Kingdom Building Day is always one of my favorite days!

Your students were hardworking, kind, joyful, and such a blessing while serving. At The Melinda House, they planted a garden, pulled weeds, trimmed hedges, and even surprised our tenant by washing her car. At the warehouse, they filled bottles and left all of our serving tables and chairs sparkling clean.

Most of all, we are so grateful the students had the opportunity to hear Melinda’s testimony of God’s faithfulness through a difficult time in her life. What a beautiful reminder that serving others with love reflects the heart of Christ.

Thank you for pouring into our ministry and our community today. We are beyond grateful for each one of you. Thank you, Coach Pittman, Amanda, Jenna, students, and my grandblessings for your servant hearts!

Little side note, for a smile, look for the vegetable markers, written by my granddaughter, Holland. Another favorite part of my day!

All Because of Him,

Doreen

We are so incredibly grateful for Mike, Anthony, and Quinn, from Junk Squad. When our trucks were completely full, they stepped in without hesitation and picked up a large donation and delivered it to the warehouse.

Their willingness to serve, with such kindness, and their servant hearts are such a great reflection of God’s love in action. It’s moments like these that remind us how the body of Christ comes together to meet needs and bless others.

Thank you for going above and beyond. You are truly making a difference, and we are so thankful for each of you. May God continue to bless you abundantly for your generosity and compassion.

And truly, if you ever need anything moved, this is the company to call. We wholeheartedly recommend Junk Squad for their reliability, heart, and outstanding service.

All Because of Him,

Doreen

Yesterday was such a powerful and humbling reminder of what it truly means to serve the way Christ calls us to. At All God’s People, our mission has always been about offering a hand up, not a handout, walking alongside each person with love, dignity, and hope.

We were blessed with so many new faces, and each one carried a story that mattered. To witness our friends faith, their trust, and their courage to keep going, even in the hardest seasons, was deeply moving. You could truly feel God’s presence, in every conversation, every hug, and every glimpse of renewed hope.

Despite the hardships our friends face, so many are holding on, trusting God in ways that are humbling and inspiring. Their courage reminds us that faith isn’t about having everything figured out, it’s about believing even when the path is uncertain.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our incredible friends from, First Church of God, in Ohio. The love you brought with you was undeniable. You didn’t just come to serve, you came to connect, to uplift, and to pour out the love of Jesus in a way that touched so many hearts. We are forever grateful for your servant hearts.

And a very special thank you to Tim for sharing such a deeply moving message, it is not too late to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. That truth resonated in such a powerful way today. You could literally see hearts softening, walls coming down, and hope being restored. It was a beautiful reminder that God’s grace never runs out, and His love never gives up on us.

Days like today stay with you. They remind us why we do this, and more importantly, who we do this for. We are grateful to be part of a ministry that meets people where they are, encourages them forward, and reminds them they are seen, valued, and deeply loved by God.

Please continue to pray for our friends, pray for strength, for provision, and for unwavering faith. Thank you to everyone who helps make this mission possible. Together, we are building hope, one life at a time.

Thank you, Father, for the honor of being the hands and feet of Jesus. Because of You, lives are being changed.

All Because of Him,

Doreen

During this Holy Week, all of us at All God’s People are feeling incredibly grateful for the love and generosity shown by St. Mary’s Catholic School, in Mokena.

Your student-led clothing drive means so much more than donations, it means dignity, care, and hope for the individuals and families we serve across the Chicago area. Each piece of clothing represents kindness in action and a reminder that people are not alone.

Because of your amazing students, staff, parents, and parishioners, we were once again able to fill our truck, something that truly makes a difference for our friends in need.

Thank you for living your faith so beautifully and for being such a blessing to our mission. We are so thankful for all of you.

A heartfelt thank you to Mike and Denny, for picking up and unloading this blessing! Eternally grateful for you!
