Effective March 23, 2020
During this time of uncertainty, we want our valued customers to know that we are taking all precautions to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and their families. We are currently operating on a normal schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. We are implementing the recommended CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our workforce, clients and vendors, all who are part of the Deaton Yacht Service family.
To limit our employees’ potential exposure to COVID-19, our office and yard will be open to STAFF ONLY effective immediately with all mobile service involving owners aboard suspended for the near future. Work will continue on boats as long as parts are available. When boats arrive and depart, we request owners maintain appropriate distancing. We will keep our customer lounge open. Our parts department will take orders and payment by telephone. Parts can then be picked up at our entrance. Please allow a two-hour lead time prior to pick up. Invoices can be paid over the phone by calling our office at 252.249.1180. We request suppliers and delivery providers call the office upon arrival at the gate. A table has been placed nearby to receive deliveries. We will adapt as needed.
Thank you for your understanding as we adjust to the challenging environment surrounding COVID-19. We will keep you updated as our protocols evolve in the coming days and weeks.
