I'm just a grandmother that enjoys raising farm animals...I wasn't even sure I really wanted to raise chickens until I bought my first ones...then I was hooked. Come on by and you'll see what I mean...you might even want to start raising your own birds...or buying my eggs...they are the best tasting eggs in South East Texas!!!

Well...this was quite a surprise today. I almost grabbed this when I went to collect my eggs...went and got the grabber and the fight was on...the fight broke the egg he swallowed...yellow poured out...scared the p*e out of me and he got away...I tried to grab him again and broke my grabber...I'm too old for this crap! He is free and will probably bite my butt at a later date! 🐍. He was a 5-6 footer too!!!

Don't know if my ladies have stopped laying or if something is getting the eggs...maybe I should put a camera in the hen houses...
