We were quoted 8,000 lbs of roofing shingles. After getting loaded, we checked the packing slip and found out the actual weight was 12,419 lbs! 😳

We contacted the broker, explained the difference, and got our rate adjusted to reflect the additional weight.

💰 Don’t leave money on the table! Always double-check your packing slip before leaving the pickup. If the load is heavier than quoted, speak up and get your rate adjusted.

6am load start in the rain 🌧️ Got soaked getting everything strapped, but the skies eventually cleared and Oklahoma put on a beautiful show. 🌅 Then it was time to get the last pallet unloaded… with a little forklift tire spin to finish the job. 😅🚛

Hotshot delivery to the Air Force base 🪖🛩️ 🇺🇸

Today’s load was two massive 2,500-gallon tanks going just 28 miles. We secured each tank with two straps, plus chocks and dunnage to keep everything from moving.

Getting through the gate took about 30 minutes (lucky day for us 🍀) but the unload made up for it — quick, easy, and they rolled right off the trailer!

Short haul, big load, successful delivery. ⚡

Up at dawn 🌅 and hauling 6,000 lbs. of fencing to the end of summer county fair 🎡🎟️ Loaded, secured, and delivered straight through. We even got to see a mini horse and carriage while we were there! 🐴 Another successful hotshot run in the books. 💪

Hauled this 3-wheel sweeper from one equipment rental location to another. With the centered front wheel lining up with the 5-inch gap between our Monster Ramps, driving it up the ramps wasn’t a safe option.

Both locations had yard ramps available, making for a safe and smooth load and unload. 💪

Rebar + a pallet of water headed to a local construction site. 🛻💨 Under 2 hours start to finish and $33/mile.

Not every load has to be a long haul to make money. Stay moving, keep hustling, and make every mile count. 💪💵

Today’s load was a 1,200lb steel plate headed to a scrap metal recycler. The forklift operator was nowhere to be found, so we hopped in the forklift and got ourselves loaded. 💪

Drove 12 miles, watched the recycler pull it off with their crane, and walked away with an extra $92.80 for the scrap on top of the load. 💵
