We brought a pop-up kids play area right to the gate! 🫶✈️

Traveling with kids can be tough, so we wanted to make the journey a little easier for our families. Little travelers got to run, play and burn off some energy before boarding.

A completely FULL inaugural flight from ONT to Honolulu on Southwest Airlines!🌺

We celebrated with a party at the gate this morning! Passengers were welcomed with Hawaiian-inspired festivities, including traditional bento box breakfasts, lei greetings, a hula dancer, coffee and giveaways. 🌴

Our 5K at the Runway raised nearly $83,000 this year in support of the Bob Hope USO at ONT and military service members traveling through Southern California 🇺🇸✈️

More than 2,000 runners, walkers, sponsors and supporters came together for one of the Inland Empire’s most unique community events and helped make a real impact for those who serve our country.

“The success of this event reflects the tremendous appreciation our community has for the men and women who serve our country,” said Alan D. Wapner, President of the OIAA Board of Commissioners and member of the USO California Advisory Board. “We are proud that this race not only brings people together in a memorable setting, but also helps support the USO’s important mission of caring for service members and their families.”

Even amid broader shifts across the aviation industry, ONT continues to show steady momentum in 2026. ✈️

Passenger traffic in April held steady and is up nearly 3% year to date, reflecting consistent demand across the region. Cargo also continues to grow with tonnage up more than 8% so far this year! 📈📦
