It’s almost time to pullout the snow shovel ❄️ Too soon 🤣

Who doesn’t love a good challenge? Apparently we love them. This will be our 4th extreme winter in an RV so we have learned a thing or two .

A few things that we have learned:

❄️ We learned real fast our first year in an extreme winter is pivot and adjust . Something will go wrong, but you learn to roll with the punches
❄️It’s not if, but when you will play the game “ Where did the water freeze?”
❄️Your RV door will probably freeze at least once
❄️A hairdryer will become the best thing you ever owned in the winter
❄️Yes there will be condensation on the windows unless you cover them from the outside ( not just the inside ) . And I am not doing that on all my windows 🫣🤣
❄️Yes you have to run your propane to keep the underbelly warm and pipes from freezing. It’s also not the best idea to use all electric stuff . We budget every year for propane .
❄️4 seasons , extreme polar package , arctic package are marketing terms and doesn’t mean you don’t have to skirt your RV . And yes I know some of you will come for me on this
❄️And if you think that you would never be able to make it in extreme winters in an RV then I am here to tell you that you don’t give yourself enough credit.
❄️Wintering in the South is nowhere near wintering in Nebraska . And I definitely don’t think we have it near as bad as North Dakota. So if you live in Oklahoma, Texas, the South we are probably not taking your sweet advice 😳🤔
❄️Some of us choose this crazy life and no our home isn’t going south because it has wheels 🤣

Don’t miss what I used for “dumbbells “ and there will be a dance party

One thing that was not going anywhere living full time in an RV was working out . My dumbbells were a non negotiable and yes I have been known to use a picnic table a time or two .

I get it life is busy and I have all the excuses, but my workouts are a priority for me because not only do I live the way I feel afterwards, but it’s my time to get out if my own head 🩷
Also, I want to be strong at 80 and not rely on anyone to pick up a 24 pack of water for me 💪🏼
