After sleeping on a volcano — wake up very early to catch the sunrise from the TOP of Acatenango!! From here you have a perfect view of Fuego’s constant eruptions. 🙌

📍Trinity — be sure to go whale watching with Sea of Whales and have dinner at The Twine Loft
📍Skerwink Trail
📍Elliston — Puffin viewing site (was difficult to see them due to infestation of seagulls making them hide 🥲)
📍Dungeon Provincial Park UNESCO Geosite — most underrated place, perhaps my favorite spot of the trip
📍Bonavista — Cape Bonavista Lighthouse

📍CAT BA ISLAND

✅Stay on this island instead

There are many boat tours of (the less touristy) Lan Ha Bay, which surrounds the island. We opted for a private customized boat tour with and it was incredible!! 🥹🙌

Our guide provided so much knowledge and insight on life in the local fishing village, Cai Beo! We even got to visit his aunts home on the water. ⚓️

We cruised around the bay, kayaked for a while, and spent time on a secluded beach all to ourselves. I highly recommend skipping the over saturated side of Vietnam, Halong Bay, and visit the more authentic, Cat Ba Island and Lan Ha Bay. 😍⛴️

2025 led me to many new places and new friends around the world. But there are some things I’m leaving behind in 2025 that did not help me. 🫣

I struggled with comparison and perfection leading me to shutdown creatively. In 2026 I am realizing my story is not like anyone else. As a mother and someone with a 9-5, I cannot be the person living out of a suitcase full-time. But I can show others how to make the most of their PTO while balancing a family at home. 🫶

I struggled with fear, procrastination, and not keeping organized. In 2026 I am prioritizing my business and not letting any ‘no’s’ hold me back from following my passion for traveling the world. I have already embraced this and am about to secure a collaboration within the first week of the year! 🥹

Manifesting joy, growth, and prosperity for 2026. ✨

Bratislava is an underrated European capital in my opinion. It’s such an easy trip from Vienna that is worth adding to your itinerary! Be sure to grab a Bratislava Card on your phone for perks like free public transportation, free admission to the castle and other attractions, as well as discounts to certain restaurants and tours!! 🙌
