Found some matching motor trucks but none have the right side covers. Thinking on my options on how to mix and match parts to make it work.

Got this engine doing a clean out. It was glued to a piece of wood and looks to have had a plaque attached to it at one time.
Think it is an Athearn dummy engine as the wheels have no gears.
Anyone know what kind of UP diesels it is and what years they were made in real life?

With all the Athearn parts I got, maybe I can turn this into a runner?

With all the other stuff going on outside I decided to treat myself and get an engine I always wanted for the indoor layout.
I got a U.P. 119, I really miss driving the one at the Omaha Zoo.
A great way to kick off the winter indoor season.
It is in like new condition. Just needs a wheel cleaning and a few drops of oil. :)

The basement is open after 6 months. 6 months of clutter to clean up and get back to building the layout.
