Dear friends and community,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the incredible love and support you've shown Woods of The Plains. This journey has been truly amazing, and it's all thanks to Royce McFadden, Olton, the surrounding communities, our dear friends, and beloved family. Your unwavering support and God's grace have allowed our business to flourish beyond our wildest dreams.

Recently, I have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and it’s with a heavy heart that I must step away from the business to focus on my health and family. As a result, we will be closing our doors at the end of August. Please keep an eye out for items we will be selling.

Rowland and I will continue to take custom orders and operate the sawmill, so if you need anything in that area, we would be more than happy to assist you.

Thank you once again for your love, support, and prayers. They mean the world to us during this challenging time.

At Wood of the Plains, we're dedicated to recapturing a time that never was. Our furniture is meant to evoke a steampunk aesthetic, a science-fictional genre that reimagines present-day high-technology in terms of steam, steel, and gears. If you're a fan of Jules Verne, you'll get the idea. Our workshop takes the essentials of the genre and uses them to create tangible artifacts – tables, chairs, and picture frames all made from genuine repurposed antiques.
