Cancellation of the Beale Air and Space Expo

The Air Force is committed to upholding the complete trust and confidence of Americans; community engagement is key to that relationship.

However, due to the evolving effects of COVID-19, the Department of the Air Force suspended all outreach activities and support to community events through May 15th, 2020. This includes, but is not limited to, on-base and civilian sponsored airshows, band performances, and community engagements and meetings, e.g. speaking engagements, community meetings on installations, base tours, etc. As such, the Beale Air and Space Expo, scheduled for May 9th and 10th, is cancelled. We will continue to support memorial flyovers on a case-by-case basis.

Do you know how to safely enter the traffic pattern at Yuba Co. Airport? Safety is EVERY pilots responsibility. Clearly announcing your presence, following proper pattern entry and communicating your intentions is just a few ways to increase yours and other pilots safety. Be vigil and fly safe.

Hard to keep your hat on with 209 mph winds!!

UPDATE: Now gusting 209 mph as of 745 AM! This could potentially be a new California state record wind speed if verified! (However, the verification process takes several months to complete).
