On Tuesday, December 9, Olive Hill Utilities will be making a repair on KY 986 (Chili Street). KY 986 will be closed between Tygarts Creek bridge (milepoint 0.37) and Democrat Hill (milepoint 0.8) from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. No thru traffic will be permitted. Traffic should use US 60 and KY 182 to detour.

The City has hired this company McKim & Creed to do a water leak survey on all City water lines for the next 3 weeks, so if anyone see’s them in your neighborhood don’t be alarmed they are working for us .

To our fellow local business partners, neighbors and customers!! We've received a few calls over the last few days regarding stone deliveries via a broker- a large, multi-state company who will quote the same materials and services you would find here, but at a much higher price. Most of these are in reference to someone who's moved into our area from another state.

If you have new neighbors, PLEASE send them our way! The prices quoted from the larger, out of state firms are at least double what you'll pay from a local business. Even if we aren't a good fit, we have names of several other local companies who do great work for a fair price.

We believe in shopping local, and we believe in giving you the absolute best price, service, and experience we can. We live here too, and we don't want to see our neighbors paying way too much!
