New tech on the WNYP!
Yesterday, our crews worked alongside the Wi-Tronix team to install a full suite of modern technology on locomotive WNYP 1501 — the first GP15 in our fleet to get the upgrade.

These installs include event recorders, cameras, GPS, fuel systems, and other tools that help improve safety, visibility, and locomotive performance.

Our Mechanical and IT teams will be upgrading 1501, 1502, 1503, and 1504 over the next few weeks.

Great teamwork all around — and a cool behind-the-scenes look at what goes into modernizing a locomotive!

Winter railroading makes for some fantastic photos — like this one captured near Sugarcreek on the WNYP by a railfan we met yesterday. We always love seeing the creativity and passion from the railfan community this time of year.

As the snow starts to fall, just a friendly seasonal reminder to everyone enjoying the view: stay aware around railroad tracks and always expect a train.
