Class A Drivers Immediate Opening
Hazel's Hot Shot is currently looking for motivated full time Class A Flatbed and Van truck drivers to join our growing Company. Our drivers play a vital role in our ability to provide outstanding service to our customers.
Qualified Candidates must meet the following criteria:
• High school diploma/G.E.D.
• Must have a current Class A CDL driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver freight of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
• Must be at least 23 year old with a minimum of 2 years tractor/trailer experience.
• Must be safety oriented.
• Ability to drive a vehicle in variable weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to climb, bend, balance, kneel, crawl, push, and pull while loading and unloading items from trailers.
• Safe driving records (MVR as well as previous employers) are required for our employees.
• All drivers must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements.
Job Specifications
• Driver will be doing regional routed deliveries in the South central, Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States.
• Driver must be in CONSTANT cell phone communication with Dispatch to receive orders throughout the day.
• Full-time position with health benefits
• Home most weekends
• Paid weekly with direct deposit
