Baseball season is in full swing. Consider seeing this marvel of a stadium and city. Yes, the Red Sox at Fenway is an incredible experience, however that does not overshadow the history and uniqueness of Boston.

Whether it be enjoying clam chowder or the freedom trail, Boston has so much to offer and is a city I try to visit every year.

Summer is on our doorstep. With that, some wonderful options for summer vacations.

Greece has been asked about to me a few times already, so let’s talk about it. I have a good deal of knowledge on the country, so if interested let me know!

Greece has so many great options for historic ruins, islands, beaches, and of course, food and wine.

The Greeks have much to offer, as well as having a lighter effect on your wallet while visiting.

I was able to visit Athens, Santorini and Mykonos a few years back, so please enjoy the video below of the villa we stayed at above one of the many gorgeous beaches in Mykonos.

Part 2 of Capitol one venture X card.

This is geared more for the benefits side of the card versus point accumulation.

With this card you get access to all capitol one lounges within airports. There are 7 across the US. Great places to recharge or prepare for flights. Food, drink, and a comfortable spot to relax while traveling.

You also get access to priority pass. This is a lounge network that is global. I’ve been in lounges in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Paris. Many options for the priority pass. Makes getting to the airport a more fun experience.

As well as lounges you also get a reimbursement for global entry. Global entry allows for a fast pass through customs coming back to the US. Take a selfie in their app and keep walking.

TSA pre check is apart of global entry as well, this allows for a faster line while checking in and going through security. Also lets you keep your shoes on the while going through security.

Lastly, there is the annual 300$ travel credit. You get this each year on your anniversary as well as 10000 extra bonus miles.

The card cost 400, while they give you 300 back as a travel credit. Can be used for flights, hotels, or car rentals. Solid benefit.

Again, if anyone has interest in this. Please reach out. I can send you a referral link!

I’ve been asked many times how we travel like we do. To put it simply, we use points and travel cards.

I have a referral link for any that are interested in travel points, text or email me, I can get you started. A Free flight is worth paying attention to.

There are some great travel cards out there that accumulate points fast. Chase, American Airlines, united etc.

Right now we are using the Capitol one venture X card. And this card racks up points like I’ve never seen.

Sign on bonus is 75000 and every purchase has a multiplier. I would state which multiplier gets what, but I have yet to find the bottom of the page on the app. lol 75000 is typically enough for round trip to Europe if any are wondering what that can get.

As well as points, you get a 300$ annual travel credit, a reimbursement for global entry, and lounge access.

I’ll be doing 2 videos to fully explain the benefits. Let me know if you want to know more!

Last year I was lucky enough to attend the tulip festival near Amsterdam at the Keukenhof Gardens. The best time to see these gardens and all of its variety is early April through mid May.

While the festival is around 30 minutes outside of Amsterdam, it is quite easy to get there with any number of tours. Also, Amsterdam was an extraordinary city that is incredibly easy to get around in, has a very deep food and craft beer scene as well as a number of museums such as the Van Gogh museum.

If interested in this experience let’s talk on it, right now flight prices are in a good spot.

Last leg of New Zealand. The best was left for last it seems.

Through the South Island of New Zealand we saw many extraordinary views, but none compared to Mt. Cook which is New Zealand’s tallest peak. We camped at the base of it, while also at the base of several glaciers, the one viewed here is Mueller glacier.

The next morning we undertook a hike that, between us, we should have never taken. lol We are not hiking folk and we were gassed by the end of it. The hike is called Sealy Tarn and is 2200 steps straight up mountain.

Which delivered the best views we have ever encountered. Was it difficult, yes. Was it worth it, also yes.

At the base of these mountains there are a number of very convenient stays with great views as well as a camp site. Both provide views of the mountains and glaciers as well as have 0 light population. Which allowed the Milky Way to be viewed by the naked eye.

This is the last of our trip before heading home and it was the most rewarding experience we had on the trip. New Zealand delivered in ways I can’t full describe.

If any have interest in New Zealand let’s talk, learn from my experience.

3rd leg of New Zealand.

We start from leaving a very neat town of Te Anau, which is likely where you would stay should you want to see Milford Sound. Very cute town with local restaurant options as well as plenty of unique places to stay.

From Te Anua, we drove back to Queenstown which is where we flew into from Auckland. Queenstown is everything you’d want for a vacation stay. Built around a gorgeous lake and surrounded by mountains. From lake sports hikes, restaurants, and views, I could stay a week here and be thrilled.

There is something for the winery crowd as well, surrounding Queenstown you will fine numerous wineries to stay and visit. New Zealand is very proud of their wine scene.

Last leg incoming. I’ll need a book to write it all, but I’ll make it work here.
