Fireworks show still on!

Attention Okeechobee! Despite the rain, our 4th of July fireworks show is still on.

And the Food Trucks are sticking around!!! Come grab a bite to eat and enjoy the show!

Join us at the Agri-Civic Center at 9:00 PM for a spectacular display. We invite you to enjoy the show from the comfort of your car in the parking lot, so you can stay dry. Please use the 710 entrance. A little rain won’t stop us from celebrating our freedom. We hope to see you here!

🚧 Exciting Progress at Okeechobee County Airport! 🚧

Construction crews are making great strides in our Parking Lot Expansion Project, adding approximately 60 new parking spaces to better serve our visitors and tenants. This FDOT-funded project is on track for completion by July 30, 2025.

Okeechobee County
Airport Parking Lot Expansion Project

Beginning the week of February 17, 2025, contractors will begin construction on the Airport Parking Lot Expansion Project located at 2800 NW 20th Trail, Okeechobee.

This project aims to enhance our facility and offer an improved parking area to better serve our customers. Citizens traveling to and from the restaurant and airport may experience disruptions. Please pay attention to all construction signage, use caution, and follow all detour signage. This project is anticipated to be completed in Fall 2025.

Important Information:
• Fully funded by Florida Department of Transportation
• Parking phases and detours will start the week of 02/17/2025
• 2-phase parking plan during construction
• The current parking lot holds around 30 parking spots
• The new lot will support around 90 parking spots upon completion
