Swanson Trucking Inc Started in 1948, Swanson Trucking is a family owned and operated business. It’s still a family operation, with Brooks’s wife and sons also helping out.

Richard Swanson started Swanson Trucking in 1948. It was managed for a time by his son-in-law, Charles “Buddy” Debruhl, and is owned and run today by Richard’s grandson, Brooks Debruhl. Swanson Trucking currently has a fleet of 16 Peterbilt trucks on the road

, hauling non-hazmat liquids across the midwestern and southern United States. We are located at the edge of Ohio, Illinois, in the same spot where Richard started the company over 75 years ago.

Swanson Trucking is hiring OTR drivers. Interested persons should have at least two years of CDL experience. Tanker experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. We run non-hazmat loads, and drivers are home most weekends. Ideally, applicants would live within 50 miles of Ohio, Illinois. We offer competitive pay and insurance benefits.
