Original post: With the family's permission, Masa Bakery will be helping raise funds during this difficult time for the Huerta family.

Our community has lost one of its hometown heroes, Lt. Isai Huerta. As Odessa mourns this tremendous loss, we want to come together to support his loved ones and show them they are not alone.

Tomorrow (June 17th), all proceeds from our Chorizo & Egg Burritos will be donated directly to the Huerta family.

We invite our community to stop by Masa Bakery, purchase a burrito, and help us honor Lt. Huerta's memory through an act of kindness and support.

Please keep the Huerta family, his brothers and sisters in the fire service, and all who knew and loved him in your thoughts and prayers.

The Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang had the honor of feeding for the PBR Rattlers 2026 Chevron Showdown Welcome Dinner again this year at Odessa College. Everyone looked fed and happy and was entertained with some great music!

The Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang had the pleasure of feeding dinner tonight for "Kickin' It For Stevie!" a benefit that was held Thursday evening for Midland Police Officer, former Texas DPS Trooper and Marine Corps Veteran Stevie Vargas, who is currently recovering from undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor.

We'd like to thank the Vargas family for allowing us to serve you and as always, thank you to Karla Milson for providing such an amazing venue to carry such events.

Longtime Member Robert Lomax passed away Sunday.
