We’re making it easier for voters to get to the polls on Election Day by offering free rides on COASTER, SPRINTER, BREEZE, FLEX, LIFT and NCTD+.

For NCTD+ use promo code VOTE2026.

Passengers will not need a PRONTO card or valid fare. The promotion excludes Amtrak and MTS services.

The Fare Change is effective today, October 1.

See chart for specific ticket increases.

Fare Changes include:
▪️One-Way Day Pass
▪️Month Pass for Adults Senior/Disabled/Medicare Recipients (SDM)
▪️LIFT fares
Zones will no longer be effective. There will now only be ONE zone for COASTER and ONE flat fare.
Youth Opportunity Pass will remain active, subject to funding availability.

▪️If you see tracks, always assume there is a train coming
▪️Cross tracks only at designated pedestrian or roadway crossings, look both ways
▪️Always listen for any sounds of an approaching train before crossing

Reminder that the Fare Change will go into effect tomorrow October 1.

The new fares will take effect in two phases. Phase I will be implemented on October 1, 2026, and Phase II on October 1, 2027.

Fare Changes include:
One-Way Day Pass
Month Pass for Adults Senior/Disabled/Medicare Recipients (SDM)
LIFT fares

Zones will no longer be effective. There will now only be ONE zone for COASTER and ONE flat fare.
