Another new account added:
1st service, before and after hull cleaning and anode replacement on this fishing charter vessel.
The hull wasn't too bad.
However the important (and difficult to clean) functional components such as the raw water intakes, propellers, cutlass bearings, sonar transducers, and anodes, were severely neglected and fouled by old fishing line and months of hard biological growth.
Now that this hard working vessel is on the monthly underwater hull service program with Daily Divers Boat Service, it will be more efficient, costing less exponentially over time for the Captain of this small business.

#1 Blade.
It takes years of experience to safely use a metal blade, such as this, to scrape the hull of a boat. If used correctly, the scraper will add years of life to your hull antifouling.
Without first scraping the hull, when water temperatures reach above 70f, simply wiping or scrubbing the hull without first scraping will remove large quantities of hull paint.
After the preliminary scrape, all that is needed is a very light wipe, which reduces the amount of antifouling plume in the marine environment and prolongs the overall life of the hull antifouling.
Unfortunately, once hard algae's and different types of corals adhere to the hull, removing them with a Plastic Scraper becomes unfeasable.

If you're selling your car, you wouldn't have it washed 30 days before the perspective buyer comes to look at it, right?

Same goes with your boat.

Pre-Sale survey haul outs are regularly scheduled on Monday mornings so it's imperative that the seller notifies the dive service the week before, to make sure the vessel is looking it's finest for the viewing.

This bad practice also greatly benefits the buyer allowing them to offer a much lower price because , to the untrained eye, the boat looks "dirty" and unmaintained, especially during summer months.

Survey haul out photos, in August 76f water, about 30 days since the last cleaning, and after cleaning photos just days after.

No one mentioned the most important fact, that all anodes have been recently replaced and there are no signs of corrosion on the drives.

Prop shine requested and delivered.
Keeping propellers looking this good is just a normal part of Daily Divers Boat Services' monthly service program.
The owner of this beautiful 39' Riviera Team Edition saw my propeller photo portfolio online, and set up monthly hull service because he wants his propellers shiny too. 🤗
They'll look even better after a few months of regular polishing.

All Daily Divers Boat Service underwater work is done by human hands. No machine cleaners are allowed in Oceanside Harbor. This helps to keep the atmosphere quiet and peaceful for boat owners.

Carver 36' Aft Cabin before and after.
This boat has been sitting for at least 6 months while the new owner was getting engine work done.
The owner contacted Daily Divers Boat Service after engine work was completed and said he was ready to begin monthly hull service.
This is before and after the 1st service. It will look progressively better as the months go by in the years to come.
