After seven years of operation out of Bahia Marina, the marina management, in a late year, Christmas decision, decided to purchase and operate their own headboat – displacing the Judith M. Fortunately, the Judith M sold within two months. She is now the Darkhorse, operating out of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. If you find yourself in north Jersey, please give them a shot.

September was tough weather wise and we are now in a ten day season closure through Oct 10th; so, the next open fishing trip is Saturday October 12th. Our last trip, Sept 29th, was pretty good. Looks like fall fishing could be as good as years past (Pics attached).

Last two Sunset Cruises of the 2024 season, this Friday and Saturday evenings (Sept 13th and 14th). Stop by Fish Tales Bar & Grill and Bahia Marina to see some nice Motorcycles and then hop on board to enjoy a beautiful sunset from the water. Toast to the end of Summer with drinks from our full bar.

Sunday's 8 hour trip was not normal by any means. We started out catching and releasing lots of Sea Bass. Trolling out to deeper waters we picked up a Bonita, pretty exciting for a head boat! Then we found a few Mahi Mahi around the bass pots. Then the day returned to normal. Lots of fish on the finder that didn't bite. A keeper or two. Then back inshore for drop, catch and release. Lot's of fun and pretty good day at sea.

Drop and reel action on the 5 hour trip this morning. Lots of fun with catch and release but none big enough to bring home for dinner. Going to blow for a day or two. Next good day looks like Saturday.

On Saturday we run a ten (10) hour trip leaving at 7 am. We will be going long to find the keeper sea bass and look around for the mahi-mahi. Water temps look to be improving, ever so slightly, but in the right direction. Rail is light and there should be plenty of room to move about. Hope to see you on board!

The OCMD Air Show is only 3-4 days away. Watch it from one of the best seats in town - from the Judith M anchored as close to the flight path as possible. Feel the power of the jets as they go vertical right above you.

Fish with us in the morning (7:00am-Noon) and then go back out for the Air Show at 1:30.

The Judith M has a full cash bar - Frozen drinks, crushes, mixed drinks, wine, and beer. There is also a snack bar with candy, crackers, chips, etc.

Only a few seats left for the Saturday Air Show. Sunday still has a lot of seats available. Hope to see you on board!
