Today’s progress on the Damascus steel skinner! This blade is made from the 564 layer crisscross raindrop pattern Damascus steel, with pure nickel shims and a high carbon steel core. Also pictured is the stainless steel Scout that is just about ready for hand sanding!

564 layers over top of pure nickel with a solid high carbon steel core. Next step is to grind in the crisscross raindrop...
