After so many years, this is a really hard post to make.
As some of you know, our family moved to Kansas last January to pastor a small church in a town of about 2,000 people. We made the move without a salary, believing that, just as it had for the previous eight years, our shoe business would continue to help sustain our family. We’ve also been waiting for a property in Louisiana to sell that would provide some financial breathing room, but it still hasn’t sold.
Over the past year, our reach and sales have dropped significantly. Keeping up with constantly changing Facebook algorithms—or trying to build on an entirely new platform like TikTok—takes time and money that we simply can’t risk right now. At this point, we need to simplify and streamline things for our family.
So, with pretty heavy hearts, we’ve made the decision to close our warehouse and close the shoe business for now.
We currently have around 1,000 pairs of flats left in the warehouse, with inventory across all sizes, and we’re going to have a big closing sale to help clear them out.

More than anything, we just want to say thank you. You guys have been such incredible customers and supporters over the years. Every order, share, comment, recommendation, and kind word has meant more to our family than you probably realize.
We’re hopeful this isn’t the end of the shoes forever. We would love to see a day when we can begin production again. But producing new styles takes capital, and right now, that’s simply not something we have available.
So for now, we’re closing this chapter and trusting God with whatever comes next. ❤️
We’re counting and double-checking every pair in the warehouse this week so that when the sale goes live Friday, the inventory on the website will be as accurate as possible.
