C&S Yacht services first incorporated in June of 2015 in Palm Beach Florida. Since that time we have been an extremely exclusive, single client at a time company managing and maintaining yachts between 88’ and 116’ having Miami to Stuart as a base of operations, and ranging from Newport, RI to Sint Maarten as well as the US Gulf Coast.
We are a family ran private company, and life’s journey has brought us back home to coastal North Carolina after a year long cruise on our own boat. While we will still continue to service our Florida, and Caribbean clients, We are returning home with a fresh model for Coastal North and South Carolina!! “Every boat owner can be a yacht owner!”
My name is Shannon Gladden. I manage the compliance, scheduling, and marketing aspects of the company along with my husband Charles who manages the day to day operations, sales, and quality control, and our two swabs Taylor and Noah! We grew up in Oak Island, NC. We were next-door neighbors as children and eventually became husband and wife in 2003.We love the water and boats more than the average person and want the opportunity to help you fall in love with boating too, but without all the stress that sometimes comes along with it.
I’m Charles Gladden, President of C&S Yacht Services. I have spent my entire life (excluding five years in the US Army’s 82nd Airborne Division) Working and/or living aboard in one capacity or another, and have served as an engineer or captain primarily. I have personally logged over eighty thousand sea-miles, and have managed countless projects on motor and sailing vessels ranging from 147’ to as small as your inflatable dinghy. My experience has given me an in-depth look at the recreational boating industry from charter fishing to sail instruction, and from superyachting in the Caribbean to cruising in our own boat. It has allowed me to look at recreational boating from many different perspectives, and to build a very broad and diverse network of owners, brokers, captains, crew, yards, contractors, and vendors.
