Excuse me for a moment while I brag about our Captain Tom Pryor. We assisted KSL news Alex Cabrero and crew to be able to have an on the water view of the water levels for this amazing story. Good job!

Lower water levels at Lake Powell the past few years have made things challenging for businesses that operate on the lake. However, many business owners who rely on tourism there are expecting what they feel could be one of the best seasons ever.

Here’s a little Marti Gras history: French meaning marti: Tuesday, Gras:Fat. Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday to reflect the practice of eating rich, fatty foods before the lent fasting season in the Christian religion. As for the exposure of woman’s breasts for beads or trinkets, has been documented since the late 1800’s, mostly limited to tourists in the upper bourbon street areas of New Orleans and become most popular in the last decades of the 20th century. It’s never to late to learn something new.
