My son and I are off on a very special one-on-one birthday adventure! 🎉

In our family, once the boys turn 10, they get to start choosing a yearly birthday trip, alternating between Dad and me. This year, it’s our turn to celebrate! ❤️

Last week, our Travels by Danielle team was recognized at a top-performing retreat as the #1 Caribbean/All inclusive Agency for 2 years in a row! This was awarded by one of the largest Caribbean suppliers in the country.

⚠️ Passport Updates Related to Child Support ⚠️

If you currently owe significant child support debt, the U.S. government may revoke your passport or deny passport renewal applications.

Anyone owing significant child support debt should arrange payment with the appropriate state child support enforcement agency as soon as possible to help prevent passport revocation issues.

I strongly encourage anyone who thinks they could possibly be affected by this change to review the official information in the link in the comments and make sure any current or future travel plans that require a passport are not impacted. If needed, take corrective action sooner rather than later so it does not interfere with your ability to travel internationally.

According to the update, individuals outside of the U.S. whose passports are revoked due to significant child support debt would only qualify for a limited validity passport for direct return back to the United States.

As always, I share these updates simply to help travelers avoid unexpected surprises that could impact their vacations, cruises, honeymoons, or international travel plans

A new client reached out wanting a last-minute mother/daughter getaway within the next month and had a very specific vision:

One of my dear repeat clients is off on a beautiful Colorado adventure today! 🏔️

I don’t normally book many domestic trips outside of theme parks, but this one was easy because I absolutely LOVE Colorado and have been there multiple times myself. They wanted mountains, adventure, side-by-sides, scenic drives, and iconic views… and Colorado will absolutely deliver on that!

Their trip includes two iconic Colorado areas:
📍 Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park
📍 Colorado Springs & Pikes Peak

I crafted a custom itinerary with the perfect mix of adventure and downtime. They’ll spend 3 nights in Estes Park, including:
• A side-by-side rental day
• A full day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park
• Time to enjoy the charming mountain town of Estes Park where elk casually roam the streets

Then they’ll head to Colorado Springs where they’ll kick things off with the famous Cog Railway up to Pikes Peak! I even shared my insider tip on which side of the train to book for the best mountain views. They’ll get to stand at the summit at 14,115 feet above sea level — and trust me, the views are absolutely breathtaking!

They’re also heading to Royal Gorge for an adventure-filled day. That place truly has it all! Then they’ll slow things down a bit with a visit to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo — America’s highest zoo! My personal favorite part is feeding the giraffes and soaking in the incredible mountain views from the walkways.

And of course, they’ll also visit the stunning Garden of the Gods.

Colorado is truly one of the most beautiful states, and while this trip only scratches the surface, they definitely asked for mountains… and mountains they shall get!
