Hi fb folks!
If you are able and want to contribute to a worthy cause, my son Michael is fundraising for the Make-A-Wish foundation and running in the NYC Marathon this November.
As some of you may know, Michael was a 'Wish Kid' himself after surviving 5 brain surgeries (starting at age 5), and then enduring an additional 5 eye surgeries in an attempt to correct his vision problems as a result of all those operations.
He is truly a remarkable young man and we are so very proud of him!!
The Make-A-Wish foundation was there for our family when Michael had recovered enough to travel .....sending us to Hawai'i on the greatest adventure our family has ever had!!
Now, it is his goal to inspire other kids and their families who are going through similar life-threatening issues by running the New York City Marathon while wearing the Make-A-Wish Foundations jersey.
Michael wants to inspire hope..... hope that they too might recover, and someday be able to do something that would have seemed impossible during their darkest hours.
Thank you for your generosity and God Bless!!!
