Finally we are home and have had some time to catch up and relax. We ran into some hiccups with leaving the house alone for 6+ weeks but it seems everything is going back to normal. The trip has been a big eye opener into many different cultures and cities. We are both changed since going through this adventure and have a little different outlook on life. Every trip I take I always learn more and more about others and simpler ways to live. We went into this trip having many questions and worries of what it would be like. We pushed each other to the edge a few times, but we both managed to power through and make it through a trip of a life time. We went all the way around the world in about 6 weeks and explored 3 continents. I added my 48th state to the list and got to explore my dream destination of Japan. Madison got to add many new places to her list. Her #1 goal was to see the Kiss painting in person which we accomplished in Vienna. We both went into Asia with having absolutely no idea if it would be challenging or easy. We went in absolutely blind and made it into something truly special. China, which we were not originally planning on doing turned into being one of the most memorable parts of the trip. From the forbidden city to the great wall and even meeting a new friend. It was a blessing it worked out the way it did. China also had the best food out of every where we have been to. That Pekin duck skin just absolutely melted in your mouth. Hell we even tried a duck foot(yuck). It all added to the special memories that we made together. Madison added a new favorite food of hers Gyozas which she says were life changing. Haha I guess we know what Ill be eating once she figures how to make those. This trip was truly a “plan as we go” and it could not have worked out any better. To end the trip sitting on a beach to looking at 6 inches of snow out our window was the most depressing part. Now time to get back to normal life and rebuild. No idea when we will be traveling next we just have to see where life ends up taking us. Thanks for following along everyone!
