🦅✈️ New Flight Crew at Graham Airport! 🛬🦅

We’ve got a very special set of wings joining us on the property — a bald eagle family has nested on the river's edge near the airport and a safe distance from the runway, and there's even a fuzzy little eaglet in the nest! 🐣💛

Photographer Tim Tushla was cleared for a "special ops" photo mission to capture this majestic moment from a safe distance. His shots are nothing short of first-class!

We’re used to watching takeoffs and landings, but this new flight school is something else. 😉

🚨 Wildlife Cannons at Graham Airport – Bird Control in Action! 🚨

Notice: Starting Week of 2-10-25

Attention pilots, visitors, and community members: We have implemented wildlife cannons at Graham Airport to help mitigate a persistent bird population around the airfield. These cannons produce loud, non-lethal sounds to safely deter birds from the runway and surrounding areas, reducing the risk of bird strikes and ensuring safer operations for all.
🔹 Why are we using wildlife cannons?Airports around the world use these devices as part of standard wildlife management practices. Birds can pose a serious hazard to aircraft, especially during takeoff and landing. By keeping them away from active flight zones, we’re prioritizing safety for both aviation crews and wildlife.
🔹 What should you expect? The cannons will periodically produce loud sounds throughout the day. These are controlled and timed to be as effective as possible while minimizing disruption.
We appreciate your understanding and support in making Graham Airport a safer place for pilots and passengers. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
✈️ Safe skies, everyone! ✈️

Her steadfast determination saved the airport from closure in 2014, and her innovative leadership in the Graham Airpark Development has ensured that the airport will serve local aviators and the community for the next century.

Fran’s passion for success and her deep-rooted commitment to the Graham Family Aviation legacy have made Graham Airport a beacon of inspiration. Her work stands as a testament to her belief in the power of perseverance, community, and the joy of flight.

Graham Airport will forever carry Fran’s imprint, a reminder of her incredible contributions and the enduring impact of her vision will forever be remembered every time a plane takes off or lands at Graham Airport. Her life has left an indelible mark on our skies and our hearts. And she will be deeply missed.
