Tree down with power lines between Cranberry Ridge road and Emerald Way. School bus will not be able to travel down that section of road. GPD was notified and is going to assess the situation.

There’s something steady and reassuring about a school bus driver that most people don’t fully notice until they really think about it.

Every single day, in the dark mornings and chaotic afternoons, they’re out there navigating back roads, tight neighborhoods, and unpredictable weather, all while keeping a bus full of kids safe, calm, and on time.

They learn names, notice who’s having a rough day, and somehow manage to keep order in what is basically a rolling room full of energy and noise.
Rain, snow, early mornings, long routes, it doesn’t matter.
They show up, they stay patient, and they carry a quiet kind of responsibility that a lot of people couldn’t handle for even one day.
