Insomniac's Enterprises We are an Independent private contractor for FedEx Ground. We run multiple different routes in Weber County from Roy up to Ogden.

We are a pickup and delivery service.

Multiple locations: Ogden and North Salt Lake

$800 guaranteed minimum for 5 days of work. You can make more but you are guaranteed a minimum of $800. Paid every Friday.

FULL TIME, PART TIME, SEASONAL.

Drivers organize their trucks that are already loaded at the North Salt Lake hub then drive to their route and deliver all packages for that day. A typical workday starts at 730am and ends between 3-6 pm, depending on how many deliveries are on the route and how quickly the driver works. FedEx delivers 7 days per week.
Residential Drivers make a base of $160 a day with bonuses after 150 stops. Most drivers are making a $1000+ a week currently.
Driving experience is preferred but will train. Must be 21 years or older. CDL not required. Must have clean driving record and must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

-You need to be at least 21 years old

-Be able to pass a background check (no felonies in the last 10 years)

-Be able to pass a drug test

-Driving experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
Follow routes and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Must have clean driving record, and must be able to pass a criminal background check.

As we know this is a very busy time of year for delivery companies. Please be patient as these drivers are out in all sorts of weather conditions getting the work done. Trucks are super heavy with stop counts and packages and it takes a lot to get everything done. Few tips to help make sure your packages arrive safely and on time:

1. Please turn on your porch lights if expecting a package. It gets dark about 4:30/5pm and it gets extremely hard to see house numbers in the dark.

2. Keep dogs restrained if you know your expecting something. Drivers are not required to deliver if there is a loose dog and they have to fear of being bit. Just because they are nice to you doesn't mean they are to a stranger in their yard.

3. When the temperatures drop enough and ice begins showing up, throw some salt down. If a driver can't safely walk to your home, they may not get the packages delivered.

Please remember that these are just safety tips to keep drivers safe and help get all the packages delivered.

Full time drivers load their truck with packages at the FedEx station near SLC airport, then drive to their route and deliver all packages. A typical work day starts at 7 am and ends between 3-6 pm, depending on how many deliveries are on the route and how quickly the driver works. FedEx delivers 7 days per week; drivers may be asked to work up to 6 days in a week during busy seasons. Individuals who can work some or all weekends will receive hiring priority.
