You can probably tell by the smile on my face that this is where I’m happiest. Riding a horse I love & simply having an absolute blast. ❤️

With more than 8,000 of you here now, I figured it was time to reintroduce myself!

I’m Victoria, the owner and maker behind Lani’s Custom Conchos. The business is named after the mare carrying me in this picture, and this photo captures exactly what it’s all about for me.

Lani’s grew from a genuine love for horses, custom tack and creating pieces that allow every horse and rider to show a little bit of their own personality.

I’m also a wife, a new mom and the person behind everything you see on this page. Lani’s is my full-time job and gives me the ability to stay home with Josie while still running barrels, caring for our animals and doing all of the things I love. Most days, I’m balancing motherhood, horses, cattle and creating each custom piece one at a time by hand.

This isn’t a large company or production line. It’s one small business with a whole lot of time, care and love poured into every piece that leaves my hands.

At the end of the day, this picture is the heart behind all of it. Enjoying my horse, having fun and creating things for other people who love this life just as much as I do.

You would never know by looking at it now, but this breast collar needed quite a bit of love when it came to me!

It belongs to a very good friend and fantastic customer of mine who had owned and loved it for years. The original conchos were in such rough shape that I had to drill them out just to remove them, the leather needed some attention and the tugs needed to be completely replaced.

I was able to track down the exact same conchos that were originally on it, replace the tugs and give the entire breast collar a fresh start without changing the look she already loved.

Seeing how grateful she was when I returned it made every bit of work worth it. Now she can continue using one of her favorite pieces for years to come! ❤️
