Each year RLD Relocation & Logistics is hired to provide a critical service for the NFL Hall of Fame Game after party and enshrinement event at The Gervasi Vineyard. This includes removing all of the furniture and Bar equipment from the Crush House and the Bistro to make room for the special event furniture, storing it at our warehouse, and returning it all to Gervasi in less than 36 hours! This requires special coordination between the HOF enshrinees’ POC, the design firm, and the venues. The A-list guests this year included enshrinee Adam Vinitieri, Drew Brees, and country singer Lainey Wilson among others and they were all very pleased with the event. The next time you are at Gervasi Vineyard on business, or with your date, and are looking for a topic to discuss, look around at all that furniture and wonder to yourself how our movers get it all out of there and back, in less than 3 days. The penalty for missing any part of the timeline is $30,000 a day which is why only RLD Relocation & Logistics is trusted to complete this project every year.

Today we recognize one of our local movers for his positive attitude and professionalism. Jonathan Barlow continues to show an exemplary work ethic no matter what job task he is given. When asked to work overtime he does so without reluctance. Jonathan is continually on time and in uniform and shows our customers the utmost respect while on job assignments. Monthly positive performers receive company recognition, a gift card to Texas Roadhouse, and are entered into a pool along with other monthly positive performer winners for a chance to be named positive performer of the year and a chance to win $500 in cash and other prizes. Moving half million dollar engineering machines during an interstate industrial relocation requires expertise and experience. Our Fortune 500 customer hired a local van line agent at first based on a cheap price quote. Less than an hour into the process we were called and told “money doesn’t matter anymore, we just need help”. RLD Relocation & Logistics showed up to the job site to find the local van line agent scratching their heads about how to move several 2200lb half million dollar industrial machines. Less than an hour on the job site and RLD had the first of several full 53ft trailers loaded with no issues.

This gentleman is worthy of our utmost admiration. At 74 years old, Archie Harper has dedicated his life to moving furniture and continues to set a remarkable example for the younger generation of movers to follow! Today he is in our North Canton OH warehouse enjoying an easy day unloading a shipment that will be cross docked and bound for Los Angeles. Thank you for all you do Archie. You truly are an inspiration.
