Runway painting is underway at OTH!

Our maintenance crews handle the work in-house, saving the Airport District tens of thousands of dollars each year while reducing closure times and impacts to commercial and general aviation traffic.

Annual runway and taxiway painting is required to maintain FAA certification. Work is taking place from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.

This US Army Nightstalker UH47 made a fuel stop at the Southwest Oregon Regional Airport. The helicopter and crew were headed home special thanks to the city of North Bend for sharing this video and to Coos Aviation for providing such a valuable fueling service for our military, commercial and corporate/private aircraft.

For the past several days, this impressive C-130J-30 Super Hercules has called Southwest Oregon Regional Airport home. It’s now headed to Melbourne, Florida.

The aircraft is operated by the 130th Airlift Wing of the West Virginia Air National Guard, a reserve component of the U.S. Air Force.

Whether supporting military operations, humanitarian relief, disaster response, or delivering critical supplies, the Super Hercules was built to answer the call.

It’s been a privilege to host this remarkable aircraft and her crew. Safe travels, and thanks for visiting!
