🔥 A Reminder About Battery Safety 🔥

Today, another one of our trailers caught fire due to the improper disposal of batteries. This is the fourth trailer in eighteen months. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the incident serves as an important reminder of the dangers that lithium-ion batteries pose when they are thrown away with regular trash.

Small batteries are found in many everyday items, including:

🔋 Cell phones
🔋 V**e pens and e-cigarettes
🔋 Rechargeable tools
🔋 Laptops and tablets
🔋 Toys and household electronics

When damaged, crushed, or exposed during transportation, these batteries can ignite and cause fires in collection vehicles, transfer stations, trailers, and disposal facilities—putting employees, equipment, and communities at risk.

Please never place batteries in your regular trash or recycling container. Instead, use designated battery recycling or hazardous waste collection programs in your area.

CDL - Class A Driver Position (Full Time)
Location : (N. Andover) Minm. 1 yr driving exp.

Ideal candidates must have experience as a Class A CDL Driver. Livefloor or dump trailer experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range : $27.00 to $31.00 per hour based on experience.

✨Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cover and uncover loads, including tarping and un-tarping, which require safely climbing a ladder.
• Lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to and more than 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections (fluids, tire pressure, etc.) and report mechanical issues to maintenance.
• Navigate routes throughout the New England area.
• Exposure to outdoor and extreme New England weather in all seasons
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and co-workers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and co-workers.

✨ Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum one (1) year of CDL driving experience
• Current DOT medical card
• Satisfactory driving record and work history verification (within 2 weeks of applying)
• Candidates selected for this position will be required to undergo and successfully complete a preemployment drug test in accordance with DOT regulations
