The Momentum M10 actually gets up on plane — and that changes what an electric tender can do.

It delivers 10 kW (≈20 hp equivalent), with the thrust to plane small RIBs, tenders, and inflatables. And it does it while weighing only about 48 lbs — lighter than most 20 hp gas motors — which pulls weight off the stern and improves a small boat's handling.

Setup is genuinely simple: single-cable plug-and-play carries both power and data between the 72V battery and the motor, and the quick-release bracket lets you pull the motor in seconds. Built primarily from metal, not plastic, with full seawater cooling — made to keep working in a real marine environment, with the drastically reduced maintenance of electric.

Check out this solar powered electric boat. Usually solar doesn’t make sense on a boat, but the huge surface area on this 10M/30’ Millikan makes it possible. With a starting price of $350k US you get 6kw of solar and a 40kwh battery making it the perfect weekender. With sleeping accommodations for four, a full head, kitchen, and the ability to order it fully enclosed it can be a very versatile boat. If you don’t need the cabins it can make for a great charter or small passenger ferry. This Saturday, May 30, we celebrated the grand opening of the world's first 100% electric boat showroom in Virginia Beach. Guests stepped aboard, asked the hard questions about range and cost of ownership, and felt firsthand how quiet a day on the water can be when there's no engine noise drowning out the conversation. We ran demo rides all afternoon between our showroom and the dock at 900 Laskin Rd — and the looks on people's faces when they hit the throttle said it all. Lower running costs, near-silent cruising, and instant torque are no longer the future of boating. They're here, on the showroom floor. Thank you to everyone who came out and made this day what it was.
