Seeing more than 60 international tall ships and historic vessels gather in our harbor to mark America’s 250th anniversary is an absolute once-in-a-generation sight. Over 20 nations are represented right here on the downtown waterfront. Proud to see Norfolk shining as a premier global maritime destination!

Welcome to Day 3 of the AMERICAN HOME FURNISHINGS ALLIANCE Conference in Virginia Beach.

Attendees travelled from the conference center to tour the recently expanded Norfolk International Terminals this morning.

Later at the conference, Mr. Thomas Capozzi, Chief Commercial Officer of the Port of Virginia, addressed the group and promoted the many advantageous of the Norfolk Ports.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of a true legend of the road and a member of our family, Charles Wilson, better known to us all as “Chuckles”.

Chuckles was more than just a driver with us; he was a constant, reliable presence and a friend to everyone he encountered. He represented the very best of the trucking spirit—integrity, hard work, and a kindness that reached far beyond the cab of his truck.

The highways will feel a little emptier without Charles Wilson at the wheel. We are eternally grateful for the 13 years of dedication he gave to this team and the millions of miles shared together. Our deepest condolences go out to their family, friends, and the entire trucking community.

Charles, may you find eternal green lights and clear skies on that long highway home.
You will be deeply missed, but not forgotten. 🕊️🚛
