Let's be honest about what a Mini-MAX build takes.

Around 500 hours. Basic woodworking skills. A 4x16 table and some hand tools. Most builders finish in 1-3 years working weekends and evenings. Some do it in 8 months. A few take longer.

None of them regret it.

If that sounds like something you could commit to, flyminimax.com is the next step. ✈️

Want to build your own airplane, but don’t want to come up with the cost of a complete kit all at once? ✈️🛠️

That’s exactly why we created the Mini-Max USA Staged Release Layaway Program.

Instead of waiting until you can afford the entire aircraft kit upfront, you can start building now, make payments over time, and receive your kit in stages as you progress through the build.

It’s a simple way to make aircraft ownership and homebuilding more attainable.

In this video, we break down:
• How the Staged Release Layaway Program works
• How your kit is divided into build stages
• How payments and releases work
• How you can get started without purchasing the entire kit upfront

If building your own Mini-Max has been sitting on your “someday” list, maybe it’s time to turn someday into Day 1.

N3284T, yellow and black on the grass. ✈️

This SuperMax has got the look. Clean lines, closed cockpit, a wooden prop, and an awesome spot in the Mini-Max Lineup as our only low-wing model.

Every airplane in our community has a story. If yours is flying, we want to hear about it. Drop a photo in the comments or send it our way and we might feature it next.

Building a P-40 Inspired SuperMax! | Visiting Rick LaRocque in Ogden, Utah

We made a stop in Ogden, Utah to visit Rick LaRocque and check out one of the most unique SuperMax projects we’ve seen!

Rick is building a modified SuperMax inspired by the legendary Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, and in this video we sit down with him to learn more about the project and what made him choose the SuperMax as the foundation for the build.

We talk with Rick about:

• Why he chose the SuperMax
• What he likes most about the aircraft
• The modifications he’s making to give it that P-40 look
• What engine he’ll be running
• His experience with the build so far
• And when he hopes to have it completed and flying

One of our favorite parts of the Mini-Max community is getting to see how builders take these airplanes and make them completely their own. Rick’s SuperMax is definitely going to be one to watch!

Thanks to Rick for letting us stop by, check out the airplane, and share his project with everyone.

📦✈️ KITS ARE HEADING OUT THE DOOR!

It’s another busy week here at Mini-Max USA as we’re cutting, organizing, packing, and crating kits for their trip to new builders around the country!

There’s something pretty exciting about seeing a pile of aircraft-grade lumber, hardware, and parts get packed into a crate knowing that the next time we see it, it could be a completed airplane. 🔨🛩️

And with fall right around the corner, there’s no better time to start your build.

Get your kit now, spend the winter in the shop building, and you could be that much closer to having your own Mini-Max ready for flying season.

Whether you’ve been thinking about a Mini-Max, Hi-Max, Speedster, Sport Coupe, SuperMax, or one of our other models, stop saying “someday.”

Make this the winter you build an airplane.

We’re ready to put a kit in your hands.

👉 What are you waiting for?

Send us a message and let’s talk about which Mini-Max is right for you!
