a cleanse doesn't start at the table. it starts at the pantry.

Your kitchen is either supporting your body or quietly working against it and most of us were never taught the difference. Nobody handed us a manual, so we ended up with a pantry full of "healthy" stuff that's inflammatory, performatory, and overpriced.

I put together the Ayurvedic Kitchen Cleanup specifically because it's the foundation.

it's spring. you feel it.

the sluggish mornings. the 3pm crashes. the bloating that won't budge. the skin doing weird things. the "allergies" that show up the same week every year like clockwork.

this is your body asking for a reset. not a punishment, not a juice-only week, not another wellness trend you'll abandon by Thursday.

a real one is coming. 5.11 🌿

listen. I know. I KNOW.

If you're constitutionally Pitta - or even Pitta-leaning - coffee is doing more than waking you up. It's stoking a fire that's already running hot. It's why your skin flares, why you can't sleep, why you snapped at your husband over the dishwasher loading method again.

The good news: you don't have to quit. (relax.) You just need to know what you're working with.

Want to know your dosha? It's the first thing we figure out in a consult and it changes everything you eat, drink, and do for the rest of your life. Link in bio.

Want to take this a step further?
Here’s how to get all 6 Ayurvedic tastes into one meal—without overcomplicating it.

Try this bowl:

Start with:
Quinoa + roasted sweet potatoes (sweet)

Add:
Sautéed kale or arugula (bitter)
Chickpeas or lentils (astringent)

Cook with:
Ginger, cumin, and black pepper (pungent)

Finish with:
Lemon-tahini dressing (sour)
A pinch of mineral salt (salty)

That’s all 6 tastes in one simple, balanced meal.

This is one of the easiest ways to support digestion, feel more satisfied after eating, and cut down on those “what else do I need?” cravings.

Save this and try it this week.

Heart disease is still the #1 cause of death in the U.S.

Not because we don’t have information.
Not because we don’t have access.

But because of patterns.

Ultra-processed food.
Chronic stress.
Living like everything is urgent.
Moving less than our bodies were designed to.

The new blog takes a different approach:
not fear-based, not restrictive — but rooted in how we actually live.

Through both modern research and Ayurveda, we explore how:
– digestion
– daily rhythm
– stress patterns
– and food quality

all shape long-term heart health.

Because it’s not about one perfect meal.
It’s about what you do every day.

Hot take: it’s not “just allergies.”

Every spring, your body feels like it’s working against you — congestion, fatigue, brain fog, low motivation — and most people just blame pollen and push through.

But from an Ayurvedic perspective, this is a Kapha traffic jam.

All winter, your system has been storing heaviness — slower rhythms, heavier foods, less movement. Then spring hits, everything starts to thaw… and instead of flowing, it gets stuck.

That “ugh, I don’t feel like myself” feeling? That’s stagnation.

This is exactly why Vinyasa flow is so powerful this time of year.

Not just stretching. Not just exercise.

It’s heat + breath + continuous movement — the combination that helps break things up and get everything moving again.

✔️ clears that heavy, sluggish feeling
✔️ supports lymphatic movement
✔️ boosts energy without burnout
✔️ helps your body actually transition into spring

You don’t need more coffee.
You need movement that wakes your system up.

I go deeper into this in my blog:
“Why Your Body Rebels Every Spring”

Spring is supposed to feel refreshing.

So why does your body feel… worse?

Congestion.
Low energy.
Brain fog.
That “is it allergies or am I just broken?” feeling.

Here’s the reframe:
your body isn’t failing — it’s adjusting.

In the new blog, we break down:
– what’s actually happening in your body during allergy season
– why spring is considered a “melt season” in Ayurveda
– how digestion, immunity, and environment all collide this time of year

This isn’t about fighting your body.
It’s about understanding it.

Not everyone comes to Ayurveda looking for the same thing.

Some want a reset.
Some want clarity.
Some just want to feel like themselves again.

And what they find isn’t extreme, restrictive, or all-or-nothing.

It’s structure without pressure.
Support without judgment.
And small, realistic shifts that actually fit into real life.

From feeling more mindful about daily choices…
To trying new foods and rhythms…
To simply feeling heard and supported in the process—

These experiences speak for themselves.

If you’ve been curious, this is your reminder that you don’t have to figure it out alone. A personalized Ayurvedic consultation is one place to start.
