'The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Mu***os), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration.

A blend of Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture, the holiday is celebrated each year from October 31-November 2. While October 31 is Halloween, November 1-2 is All Souls Day or the Day of the Dead. According to tradition, the gates of heaven are opened at midnight on October 31 and the spirits of children can rejoin their families for 24 hours. The spirits of adults can do the same on November 2.'

Yesterday I had the chance to visit a resort I hadn't seen yet. So glad I did because this is a great option for families!

It's less than 30 minutes from the airport. Lots of restaurant and bar options. Plenty of pools to choose from too!
Plus, there is an awesome kid's club with activities planned all day long.

Today was a great day for learning.

We had the opportunity to hear presentations from the Margaritaville Home Office and Karisma.
We learned more about the Margaritaville brand, what it means and what's ahead. And all about the Karisma all inclusive Margaritaville resorts and Margaritaville Beach Resort in Belize.

These resorts aren't just for Margaritaville fans. They're all about escapism and laid back luxury. Whether you're looking for an active vacation full of pickleball games or a relaxing retreat in a hammock on the beach, there is a resort for everyone!!

Just arrived in paradise to attend the Margaritaville Brand Immersion at the brand new adults only Margaritaville Riviera Maya.
