The Civil Air Patrol is the official Auxiliary Unit of the U.S. Air Force and it enjoys a proud legacy of selfless sacrifice and service to country and community that spans decades. We are a volunteer, non-profit organization with a heavy focus on developing young people into responsible citizens and aerospace leaders. The Cadet Program achieves these goals by emphasizing five program elements: Leadership, Character Development, Aerospace Education, Physical Fitness, and Activities.
